Social priorities of Nesebar Municipality
Social policy is a leading priority for the local administration in Nesebar. The municipality actively invests in projects with national and European funding, ensuring care for people with disabilities, the elderly, and socially vulnerable groups.
Key services and assistance in figures
- "Personal Assistance" mechanism: 320 assistants take care of 300 users.
- "Assistant Support": 43 assistants serve 46 citizens.
- "Innovative health and social services": 42 home helpers support 48 users, with the project also including the modern "Telecare" service for remote monitoring.
For its systematic efforts and sustainable social services, in June, Nesebar Municipality was honored with a national award by the National Alliance for Social Responsibility.
