Today, Ukraine once again demonstrated its care and commitment to its defenders by carrying out a new, extremely important stage of the large-scale process of returning prisoners of war. Within this exchange, a number of severely wounded and sick warriors, including representatives of the Airborne Assault Troops, the Navy, the Air Force, the Territorial Defense Forces, the Special Forces for Counteracting Sabotage, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Guard, returned home. The defenders of Mariupol, who had been in captivity for over 3 years and some of whom were even considered missing, were also released. These heroes fought on the hottest fronts - Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk. All the released will undergo a full medical examination, physical and psychological rehabilitation, and will receive all the payments due to them for the time spent in captivity. Today's exchange is part of the large-scale initiative to return military personnel up to 25 years old and those most severely affected, and the Coordination Headquarters is working tirelessly to achieve new successes in this direction. Ukraine clearly demonstrates that it does not forget its defenders and will continue to make every effort to bring them home.
