Two people died in traffic accidents in the country over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior announced. Eight people were injured. There were nine serious accidents with casualties in the past 24 hours.
In Sofia, 26 minor accidents and one serious accident were registered; one person died, and there were no injuries.
Since the beginning of the month, there have been 38 accidents with eight fatalities and 43 injuries. The traffic accidents since the beginning of the year are 6183, the fatalities are 422, and the injured are 7695. Compared to the real data for fatalities during the same period in 2024, there are 11 fewer road users killed in 2025.
