The Fire Department's Report: One Deceased and 131 Extinguished Fires
The General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection (GDFSPP) has released the latest data on the fire situation in the country as of 6:00 a.m. this morning. Over the past 24 hours, teams have responded to a total of 180 incident reports.
Unfortunately, one fatality has been recorded as a result of the incidents.
Distribution of Incidents
- Fires with material damage: 21 cases were recorded, including 4 in residential buildings, 2 in industrial sites, and 6 in transport vehicles.
- Fires without material damage: A total of 110 incidents, with 62 of them involving dry grass and bushes, and 39 involving waste.
- Rescue activities: 39 operations were carried out, including 9 related to road accidents.
The fire department reminds the public that 10 cases of false alarms were also reported during this period.
