The General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection reported 88 fires across the country over the last 24 hours. One man was injured due to careless handling of fire, and 16 fires resulted in material damage.

Over the past 24 hours, the teams of the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" (GDFSCP) have responded to a total of 155 calls for incidents. Of these, 88 were fires, with the majority resulting in no material damage.

The cause of the incident in the Montana region was negligence when handling an open flame.

A 56-year-old man was injured during a fire involving dry grass and waste in a yard in the village of Dolno Belotintsi, Montana region. He sustained minor surface burns and smoke inhalation, after which he was transported to a hospital for medical assistance.
