Two people died in a serious accident on the Burgas – Malko Tarnovo road, in the area of the village of Marinka, the Ministry of Interior announced.
Two men, aged 41 and 52, died in the road traffic accident near the Burgas village of Marinka. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m., the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas said. The deceased were traveling in a car with Burgas registration. The 41-year-old man was at the wheel.
When entering the lane for oncoming traffic, he crashed into another car driven by a 32-year-old woman from Burgas. She was taken to a Burgas hospital in good overall condition.
The road from the village of Marinka to road II - 99 Burgas - Sozopol is closed in both directions, traffic has been diverted through the "Meden Rudnik" complex, the police clarified.
At this stage, there are still no definitive data on the causes that led to the incident. There are two ambulances and an investigative group on site.
