A grim toll: 6 dead on the roads in 24 hours
The past 24 hours have proven to be extremely difficult on Bulgarian roads. According to official data from the Ministry of Interior, six people have died and 39 others have sustained injuries in 28 serious road traffic accidents.

The situation in the capital
In the city of Sofia, the traffic situation was relatively lighter, but not without incidents. The following were recorded:
- 1 serious accident;
- 13 minor traffic accidents;
- 1 person injured.
Statistics since the beginning of the year
Data from the beginning of the month and the year show a worrying trend:
- Since the beginning of the month: 46 dead and 764 injured.
- Since the beginning of the year: 254 dead and 4,525 injured in traffic accidents.
