Serious electric scooter accident near Berkovitsa
An 11-year-old child is in critical condition and their life is in danger following an accident involving an electric scooter on the outskirts of the town of Berkovitsa, reported the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Montana.
The incident occurred on August 21 in the "Samotniyat bor" (The Lonely Pine) area. Four boys were riding scooters when one of them fell fatally, hitting their head hard.
Transportation and condition of the child
Following initial assistance at the Emergency Medical Center in Montana, the child was transported to the "N. I. Pirogov" hospital in the capital. Doctors diagnosed a skull fracture and a hematoma. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case for causing severe bodily harm.
