Serious accident on the Sub-Balkan road
Six people were injured in a serious car accident on the Sub-Balkan road Sofia – Burgas, in the area of Pavel Banya, near the junction for the village of Gorno Sahrane. The incident occurred at 13:22 following a collision between two vehicles.
A medical helicopter has been dispatched to the scene of the serious incident for emergency assistance and transport of the injured.
Traffic organization
Due to the accident, traffic on road I-6 has been temporarily suspended. The following detour routes have been implemented:
- Via Gorno Sahrane – Dolno Sahrane and vice versa.
Currently, "Road Police" teams are working at the scene to establish the causes and circumstances that led to the serious accident.
