Serious electric scooter accident in Nesebar
On August 14, around 9:50 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred in the "Pyasatsite" neighborhood, in which a 36-year-old man was injured. The incident took place in the area of a T-junction.
According to the police, the victim, a resident of the village of Aleksandrovo, attempted an illegal overtaking maneuver across prohibitive road markings, which led to a collision with a car driven by a 27-year-old man.
Condition of the victim
- Diagnosis: Skull fracture and brain hemorrhage.
- Status: Admitted to the intensive care unit of UMHAT – Burgas.
- Prognosis: His condition is serious; there is a risk to his life.
All circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being clarified. Law enforcement authorities remind of the need for increased caution when operating electric scooters on the roadway.
