Accident on Struma Motorway hinders traffic
A serious road accident occurred this afternoon at the 36th kilometer of the Struma Motorway. The collision took place near the junction for the village of Staro Selo in the direction of Sofia, reported the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Pernik.
According to initial information, two vehicles were involved in the accident, with a woman—the driver of one of the vehicles—and a passenger from the second vehicle injured.
- The two injured individuals were transported to the hospital in Pernik for medical assistance.
- At the moment, their condition remains unclear.
Traffic in the area is temporarily restricted. Traffic police teams are regulating the flow, and vehicles are being diverted along an alternate route through the town of Radomir.
