Details on the victim's condition
One of the victims of the serious accident on the Trakia motorway is in a stable general condition. It concerns a 46-year-old man, who is currently admitted to the anesthesiology and intensive care unit of a hospital in Burgas.
The man is responsive; all necessary examinations have been performed on him, including a computed tomography scan.
What injuries were identified?
According to information from the medical facility's press office, the examinations showed:
- Fractures in various locations;
- Liver contusion, which at this stage does not require surgical intervention.
Upcoming treatment
The patient remains under observation by a multidisciplinary team. Further assessments of the injuries are pending, and the need for subsequent surgical intervention will be determined based on the dynamics of his condition. The man's relatives have already been informed and have had the opportunity to visit him in the intensive care unit.
