Meeting with Prof. Dr. Radka Argirova in Burgas: Prevention of Socially Significant Diseases

RZI - Burgas and the MOST Foundation are organizing a meeting with Prof. Dr. Radka Argirova on May 7th at the Burgas Free University (BFU). Topics such as cervical cancer screening and HIV prevention will be discussed, within the framework of the foundation's initiative "Life as a Value."

On May 7th in Hall 208 of the Free University of Burgas, from 3 PM, RZI - Burgas and the MOST Foundation are organizing a meeting with Prof. Dr. Radka Argirova, MD, PhD. She will address extremely important issues related to the prevention and treatment of socially significant diseases: "National Program for Cervical Cancer Screening – Basic Principles. Vaccination of Pregnant Women" and "Updates in the Prevention and Treatment of HIV Infection".

Prof. Dr. Radka Argirova, MD, PhD, is an authoritative Bulgarian virologist whose activity is known and recognized in many other countries. She has dedicated much of her time to science and practice, to the mission of ensuring that society and medical specialists receive the necessary knowledge and information to prevent irreversible consequences from serious diseases. For her exceptional contribution to science and as a person who has dedicated herself to public activity, she received the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" necklace from the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.

"Life as a Value" – this is the umbrella under which the MOST Foundation (Media, Society, Family, Traditions) conducts its activities this year. This is the 25th consecutive year, focused on the problems in Bulgarian healthcare and the search for solutions.

Part of the activity of MOST includes meetings of prominent authorities in the field of medical science with specialists and the public in different cities. Over the years, meetings have been held in Targovishte, Lovech, Smolyan, Devin, Shumen, Blagoevgrad, Kardzhali, Pleven, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Montana, Vratsa, Tutrakan, Silistra, Ruse, and others. Participants have included Prof. Radka Argirova, MD, PhD, Prof. Nigar Djafer, and other specialists, as well as the unforgettable Tatyana Lolova in the role of an apostle of the mission for human health.
