Prime Minister Rumen Radev and relevant institutions discussed urgent legislative changes to curb juvenile aggression, prevent drug abuse, and introduce new internet controls.

Emergency meeting at the Council of Ministers to address juvenile aggression

In light of the frequent cases of violence by minors, Prime Minister Rumen Radev convened representatives of the responsible institutions to outline a new plan to combat juvenile delinquency.

"Inconsistent policy and the lack of effective control over the years have led to a sense of impunity in society," the participants in the discussion noted.

Key priorities for reform:

The institutions are also planning more active work with parents, as well as the creation of new extracurricular activities, sports, and arts to engage young people and prevent deviant behavior.
