The state declares war on digital aggression
Minister of the Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev stated that the state is putting an end to the institutional neglect regarding the dangers children are exposed to in the online space.
The brutal murder in Plovdiv and the shameful mockery in Radomir are not just crime reports. They are the final diagnosis of the state of our society, writes Demerdzhiev.
According to the minister, when violence becomes content for social media, the problem transcends the boundaries of ordinary crime and turns into a social pathology.
Main priorities of the Ministry of the Interior:
- Increased control over social media to detect radicalization.
- Legislative changes to limit online violence.
- The Cybercrime Directorate is already actively monitoring profiles broadcasting aggression.
The minister emphasized that despite the state's measures, the family remains a key factor in raising children. Nevertheless, control will be uncompromising to ensure the security of the next generation.
