Priorities of the new government
At its meeting today, the government adopted its governance program, aimed at implementing key commitments from the election platform. The main objectives include:
- De-oligarchization and the rule of law;
- Optimization of the administration;
- Care for the health, income, and security of citizens;
- Creating opportunities for young people.
"Our goal is to replace the exhausted development model, based on cheap labor, with a new model of accelerated economic development," stated Prime Minister Rumen Radev.
Economic strategy and investments
The government is committed to actively attracting investments and supporting Bulgarian business through:
- Reducing the regulatory burden;
- Increasing productivity;
- Development of high-tech export-oriented production.
The Prime Minister emphasized that despite the inherited debts in the municipalities, the cabinet is providing funding for municipal projects through a new transparent investment program.
