Arrest after a dangerous police chase in Burgas
A Syrian citizen has been detained for up to 72 hours on charges of assisting three Moroccans to reside and transit through the country illegally. The incident occurred on May 24th in the city of Burgas.
It was established that the detainee was transporting two of the migrants in the trunk of the car, while the third was in the passenger seat.
The criminal act was committed in a manner dangerous to others. The man did not possess a valid driver's license and was driving recklessly, which led to a single-vehicle traffic accident in the area of the underpass between the "Zornitsa" and "Izgrev" complexes.

- Fleeing the scene of the accident after the crash.
- Arrest in Plovdiv after the accused traveled there by train.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Burgas announced that a request for the imposition of a "remand in custody" measure is forthcoming.
