As part of their operational activities, the police have achieved significant success in the fight against drug distribution. On August 15 in Kiten, a search was conducted in a guesthouse on "Briz" Street, inhabited by a 21-year-old man from Asenovgrad. Two pellets of cannabis weighing about 12 grams, an electronic scale, a mobile phone, and the amount of 760 levs were found and seized in the room. Four people who had bought drugs from the detained man were also questioned.

The situation with the two men from Septemvri who went missing at sea is particularly dire. Their bodies were found and pulled out of the water near the Southern Port of Nesebar. According to the information, the two were part of a larger group that had entered the sea despite a red flag being raised, which signals strong waves. Four of the company managed to get to the shore, but the 14-year-old and his 35-year-old relative were dragged by the rip current. A drone, an integrated system of the "Border Police," and a border police ship were involved in the search operations. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the case.
