Unit Six of Kozloduy NPP Shut Down for Device Replacement

Unit Six of Kozloduy NPP was shut down on March 3rd for the replacement of safety membrane devices on steam separators. The new devices are made of similar materials and have undergone testing. Unit Five is operating as scheduled with a load of 1048 megawatts.

Unit 6 of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant was shut down on March 3 for replacement of the protective membrane devices of the turbine's steam separators. The new devices are made of materials similar to the originals. Tests in independent laboratories show that the materials have the required qualities. Unit 5 is operating on schedule, with a load of 1048 megawatts.
