Another case of aggression between children shocked Burgas, where on Thursday morning, an urgent evacuation of students from "Ivan Vazov" Secondary School was necessary. The incident, which caused panic and concern among the children and teachers, occurred in the corridor of the educational institution.
The news comes against the backdrop of the gloomy events from the capital, where a 15-year-old boy lost his life after being stabbed.
According to the information provided by the media, at the root of what happened in Burgas is a fight between two twelfth-grade girls, which erupted during the break. Witnesses describe a tense atmosphere in the corridor, filled with raised voices and tension. When trying to break up the students, a teacher on duty found herself in the center of the conflict. Then, one of the girls took out a pepper spray and used it against her classmate.
The atmosphere in the corridor changed instantly. The feeling of insecurity enveloped everyone present.
Affected by the action of the spray were not only the two girls, but also the teacher, as well as children who were near the scene of the incident. One of the students, who witnessed the event, shared that "the whole corridor started to smell bad and everyone started coughing".
The two girls involved in the incident, along with the teacher, were immediately taken for examination to a hospital. At the same time, all the students were taken out to the schoolyard while the authorities were clarifying the circumstances surrounding the case.
