The roof repair of the building of the Regional Administration in Burgas will be completed within a month, announced the press center of the regional administration.
They explained that since 2013, when the last complete repair of the roof structure was carried out, it has been maintained only with partial repairs.
As a result of the rains and the weather, the damage to the building, which is a cultural monument, is significant. In 2025, the Council of Ministers allocated the requested necessary funds for the repair of the roof and the space under the roof. After securing them and conducting a public procurement, the actual repair work began in November last year. Currently, they are being carried out according to schedule, and the completion is planned within a month, said the regional governor Vladimir Krumov.
The regional administration specified for BTA that the contract with the contractor was signed on November 11 last year with a deadline for execution of three calendar months. The funds allocated for repairs are over 420,000 euros.
