A strong storm flooded the Southern Black Sea coast
A torrential downpour, accompanied in places by thunderstorms, hit Nesebar and the Sunny Beach resort complex. A significant amount of rainfall fell in an extremely short time, creating serious difficulties for residents and guests in the area.
The most serious problems are in the low-lying sections of the road network, where large puddles and temporary flooding have formed.
Road situation
At the moment, the situation remains complicated:
- Vehicle traffic is proceeding with increased caution.
- In some places, traffic is moving slowly due to large amounts of water on the lanes.
- Pedestrians are experiencing serious difficulties when crossing underpasses and flooded areas.
Fortunately, there are currently no reports of injuries or serious material damage. Maintenance crews are monitoring the situation, and drivers are urged to drive at a safe speed.
