Regional Information Center – Burgas invites you to participate in the regional consultations dedicated to the future of the INTERREG European territorial cooperation programs in the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Turkey for the programming period 2028–2034.
The event is organized by the Joint Secretariat of the INTERREG Bulgaria–Turkey Programme, jointly with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria and the EU Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. A working discussion with the participation of representatives of the European Commission will be held within the framework of the meeting.
The aim of the consultations is to identify key territorial needs, untapped potential and priority areas for cross-border cooperation in the next programming period. The participation of local authorities, institutions and interested parties will contribute to better planning of the future program and to the formulation of priorities important for the development of the region.
The event is a good opportunity to inform the public about future opportunities for cross-border cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey and the role of European programs for the development of the region.
