Specialized operation by the Varna police
Law enforcement authorities in Varna have uncovered another illegal greenhouse for cultivating plants of the cannabis genus. The operation was conducted in the area of Euxinograd following a series of search activities.
Detained individual and seized evidence
During the operation, a 43-year-old man was detained, in whose property a room equipped for the cultivation of narcotic substances was discovered. The following items were found on-site:
- 160 plants of the cannabis genus in an advanced stage of growth;
- About 500 grams of ready-made dry grassy mass, testing positive for marijuana;
- Specific equipment for maintaining the crops.
The case is another success in the Ministry of Interior's fight against the production and distribution of drugs, the directorate commented.
Currently, the investigation continues under the direct supervision of the prosecutor's office.
