In implementation of the Operational Programme for Food and/or Basic Material Assistance, a key element of the efforts to support the most vulnerable groups of the population, the Municipal Organization of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Nessebar, announced the beginning of the distribution of food packages. This program is co-financed by the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived, underlining the commitment of the European Union to social well-being.
The activity aims to provide vital support for the residents of the Municipality of Nessebar who are included in the lists of the Social Assistance Agency. This approach ensures that assistance reaches those who need it most, focusing on specific categories of people.
Eligible individuals will be able to receive their due products at a designated location. The point of the Bulgarian Red Cross in the "Cherno More" 3 quarter, located in the "Kabana" supermarket, near the "Petrol" gas station, on the road to Ravda, will be open for the distribution of aid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 13:30 to 16:30. The atmosphere around was buzzing with tension, as people gathered, hoping for the support they needed.
In the villages covered by the program, the distribution of aid will be carried out in the buildings of the town halls to facilitate access for the residents of these settlements.
To receive assistance, eligible persons must appear with a personal ID card. This process is necessary to verify their identity and ensure the correct distribution of resources. For all questions and additional information, citizens can contact the employees of the Social Assistance Agency. The office is located in the post office building, on "Khan Krum" street in New Nessebar. The area around the Agency building was bustling with people seeking information and guidance.
