Public Drawing of Voting Machine Numbers: Ensuring Transparency Before Elections

The Ministry of Electronic Governance will publicly draw the numbers of the voting machines. The aim is to ensure transparency and fair elections. Representatives of the Central Election Commission, political parties, and others will attend the event. The state has a sufficient number of machines.

The Ministry of Electronic Governance is preparing for a public drawing of the numbers of the voting machines. This is part of the measures to ensure transparency in the election process.

Ensuring Transparency: The public drawing is key to ensuring fair and democratic elections.

Participants in the Event: Representatives of the CEC, the Public Council, BIS, BIM, parties and coalitions, as well as the parliamentary parties, will attend.

Machine Availability: The Bulgarian state has 12,837 machines, enough for the upcoming elections.

Storage and Security: The machines are stored in a warehouse under the guard of the Ministry of Interior, with access only for authorized persons.

Consecutive Elections: The upcoming parliamentary elections on April 19th will be the eighth since 2021.
