Key decisions of today's Council of Ministers meeting
At its regular meeting, the government will discuss a series of strategic documents aimed at modernizing defense capabilities and strengthening national security.
The focus is on the ratification of international agreements for financial support and technological cooperation.
Main topics on the agenda:
- Defense industry: Ratification of an agreement for the EU's SAFE loan instrument, aimed at developing defense capabilities.
- Cybersecurity and financial intelligence: Continuation of services for the UN's goAML application, used by the SANS to combat financial crimes.
- Modernization of armament: Acquisition of new three-dimensional radars through a framework agreement with France.
- Administrative reform: Discussion of a development concept for the Institute of Public Administration (2026-2028).
The cabinet will also review the six-month report of the Interdepartmental Council for Screening of Foreign Direct Investments, as well as changes to the regulatory framework for labor migration and export control of defense products.
