Traffic changes through the "Vitinya" tunnel
During the night of August 13 to August 14, temporary traffic organization is being introduced in the "Vitinya" tunnel on the Hemus motorway due to planned cleaning of road signs.
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) reports that the activities are scheduled during periods of lowest traffic to avoid difficulties for travelers.
- Tube towards Varna: From 9:00 PM on August 13 to 1:00 AM on August 14. Emergency lane limited; traffic is redirected to the active and passing lanes with a speed limit of 60 km/h.
- Tube towards Sofia: From 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM on August 14. Outer active lane limited; passing through the middle active and passing lanes with a speed limit of 60 km/h.
On August 14, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, cleaning of trenches will be carried out at the "Yablanitsa" road junction. Traffic will not be stopped, but drivers are urged to exercise increased caution when passing by specialized machinery.
