Weather Forecast: Variable Weather in the Coming Days

We are expecting variable weather with clouds, rain, snow, and changes in temperatures. A Mediterranean cyclone with intense precipitation is expected on Friday.

Variable weather awaits us in the coming days.

By the end of today, it will remain cloudy over most of the country. Light rain will fall in many places, with more significant precipitation possible in some places in the Burgas region. Light snow will fall in the mountains. Temperatures in most places in the country will be from 7 to 12 degrees. 

At night it will be cloudy, with light rain, above 1000 meters above sea level - light snow. In Eastern Bulgaria, a light wind will blow from the north-northwest. Minimum temperatures will be from 2 to 7 degrees.

During the day, the cloud cover will be significant, with more substantial breaks over the western and northern regions. Rain will fall, mainly over the southern half of the country. Temperatures will be around 10 to 15 degrees, higher in Northern Bulgaria, and in places with dense clouds in the south - a little lower. In the east, a light wind from the northern quarter will continue to blow.

Tomorrow on the continent, there will be sun in many places in the central and western parts, as well as in the northeast. It remains cool and cloudy in the eastern part of the Balkans. 

On Wednesday in our country, the cloud cover will be variable, decreasing to insignificant. Temperatures will rise in the afternoon and will reach 12-13 to around 17 degrees.

On Thursday, the wind will strengthen from the south-southeast. Temperatures will rise further and will be from 15-16 to around 21 degrees. The cloud cover will be medium and high, and there will be sunny hours.

On Friday, a Mediterranean cyclone will pass through the country. The wind will be moderate and strong, from the east and southeast, and later, initially over the northwestern regions, it will reorient itself from the northwest and with it cold air will rush in. Rain will begin to fall from the southwest to the northeast, in places - intense, but mainly short-lived. There will also be thunderstorm activity. In the mountains, the precipitation will turn into snow.

The morning temperatures will be from 3-4 to about ten degrees, and in the afternoon - from about 5 in the west and southwest to 17-18 in places in Eastern Bulgaria, where the wind will still be warm, from the east and southeast.

On Saturday and Sunday it will be more often cloudy, in places with rain. Snow will fall in the high mountain parts. The wind will be from the north or northwest, mostly light or moderate. Temperatures will drop further.
