On Friday, February 13th, the weather will be cloudy, with rain in many places, significant in the Rila-Rhodope region and in the central regions of the country. The wind will temporarily turn from the northwest and will strengthen to moderate in the Danube Plain. Minimum temperatures will remain relatively unchanged, daytime temperatures will slightly decrease and the maximums will be between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius, up to about 12 degrees Celsius in the southeastern regions.
On Saturday, February 14th, the rainfall will temporarily stop and the cloud cover will break up, but in the afternoon it will quickly thicken from the west and rain will fall again in the evening. It will be warm for mid-February, with maximum temperatures, mainly between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius. During the night into Sunday, the southerly wind will strengthen, especially in the southeastern half of the country and on the northern slopes of the mountains.
On February 15th, Sunday, the weather will be very dynamic. There will be rainfall, along the line of the passing cold front, accompanied by thunderstorms. Local intense rainfall with a temporary strengthening of the wind is possible. Maximum temperatures will still be high, especially in areas with a southern wind - up to 18-20 degrees Celsius, but they will begin to decrease from the northwest.
On Monday, February 16th, and Tuesday, February 17th, the weather will be cloudy. There will be a northwesterly wind, in Eastern Bulgaria on the second day and a northeasterly wind, cold air will flow in and daytime temperatures will decrease significantly. From the northwest to the southeast, the rain will turn into snow. At the end of the period, the rainfall will temporarily stop and the cloud cover will break up, at the latest in Eastern Bulgaria. Minimum temperatures in many areas will be negative, and daytime temperatures will start to rise from the west.
