US President Donald Trump officially requested the publication of transcripts from the legal proceedings related to financier Jeffrey Epstein, whose criminal activity was the subject of a large-scale international scandal.

In an official statement from the White House, Trump ordered the Department of Justice to provide all additional documents that would shed more light on the case. However, the declassification procedure requires mandatory approval from judicial instances.

The President emphasized that his current initiative is a direct response to a publication in the Wall Street Journal, which attributes an inappropriate letter addressed to Epstein in 2003. Trump categorically described this publication as "false, malicious, and defamatory".

An interesting fact is that during his election campaign, Trump had already promised full declassification of files related to this case but had not fulfilled his promise until now.

In the context of the growing scandal around Epstein, the president did not miss the opportunity to harshly criticize some representatives of the Republican Party, who in his opinion are not showing enough activity on the case.

Trump's current initiative is seen as an attempt for complete transparency and a desire to reveal all circumstances surrounding one of the most scandalous legal cases in contemporary American history.

Experts comment that the declassification of documents could provide extremely important information regarding the scale of Epstein's criminal activity and his potential influential accomplices.

At the moment, it remains unclear whether the court will approve the full disclosure of materials and what specific revelations might follow.

The case continues to provoke exceptional public interest and media response, with every new piece of information eagerly anticipated by the American public.
