Firefighters Responded to 126 Incidents Across the Country

Over the past 24 hours, fire crews in Bulgaria responded to 126 calls, extinguishing 98 fires. One person was injured while trying to put out a burning car. 22 rescue and support operations were carried out.

Firefighting teams responded to 126 incident reports across the country in the past 24 hours and extinguished 98 fires, according to the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population".

One person was injured while trying to extinguish a burning car in Ruse, resulting in burns.

In Varna, five people were evacuated from an apartment building due to heavy smoke.

21 fires caused material damage, 11 of which were in residential buildings. 77 fires were registered without damage.

22 rescue operations and support operations were carried out, including during accidents and the provision of technical assistance.

Six false calls were received.
