The National Fire Safety System reported an extremely dynamic day with a total of 269 extinguished fires, official sources from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" at the Ministry of Interior reported.

Statistical data, valid as of morning hours, reveal a large volume of incoming signals - a total of 333 different incidents, of which 46 were accompanied by direct material damage.

The structure of registered incidents includes 27 fires in residential buildings, two in industrial facilities, and three in vehicles. Additional damage was recorded in one urbanized area and two outdoor facilities.

Parallel to the main activities, experts have carried out 46 rescue operations, including four interventions in transportation incidents. Particularly noteworthy are 162 fires in dry grass, forest vegetation, and shrubs.

As an additional interesting fact, the arrival of aerial equipment from several European countries within the EU Assistance Mechanism was noted. Military personnel also actively participated in extinguishing the fire centers.

The statistics also record 18 false calls, which further burdens the operational capacity of rescue services.
