A critical fire situation was recorded today in the afternoon in the capital district "Hristo Botev", with specialized services taking immediate action to extinguish the fire.
The official statement from the fire service confirms that the signal about the incident was received exactly at 3:05 PM. Immediately after receiving it, seven fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, accompanied by a total of 21 professional officers.
According to the initial expert assessment of the firefighters, the incident is related to the ignition of household waste, which does not pose an immediate threat to the adjacent residential buildings. However, significant smoke has been registered in the area.
Teams on site are working with increased attention, with their main goal being the complete localization and extinguishing of the fire, as well as preventing any potential spread.
