Authorities have ruled out external interference regarding the fire at an "EMCO" depot near the village of Belitsa. Experts are investigating the possibility of spontaneous combustion, while the situation remains under control.

The authorities have officially ruled out the possibility of outside interference in the fire that broke out at an ammunition depot near the village of Belitsa. Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev called for an end to speculation and stated that they are working solely with facts.

"There is no evidence of outside interference of any kind," Minister Demerdzhiev stated firmly.

The owner company, EMCO Ltd., also rejected the version of human error. According to Slavcho Demiev, the ignition started "from the inside out" and it was likely a case of spontaneous combustion of a gunpowder charge.

The situation around Tryavna and public safety

Experts from the Specialized Counter-Terrorism Unit (SOBT) are working on-site, and if necessary, military specialists will be brought in to establish the exact cause of the incident.
