Two people died, and 17 were injured in accidents in the country in the last 24 hours. This was announced by the Ministry of Interior on its website. There were 16 serious road accidents.
In Sofia, 25 minor incidents were registered, with no fatalities or injuries.
Since the beginning of the month, 23 people have died and 260 have been injured in 212 accidents. Since the beginning of the year, 437 people have died, and 7908 have been injured in a total of 6355 road traffic accidents. Compared to the same period last year, the police report ten fewer traffic fatalities.
