During the past 24 hours, 13 serious accidents were registered on the territory of the country, in which one person died and 16 were injured, the Ministry of Interior announced.
In Sofia, two serious and 37 minor traffic accidents occurred. Two people were injured.
Compared to the real data for fatalities (20) during the same period of 2025, seven more road users died in 2026.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been 306 accidents, in which 27 people have died and 368 have been injured.
