"Beyond the Horizon 26": Military police from 12 countries train at "Novo Selo"

The international exercise "Beyond the Horizon 26" demonstrates capabilities for crisis response, tactical evacuation, and drone operations with the participation of NATO allies.

International Cooperation and New Capabilities at Novo Selo Training Area

The tactical-special exercise "Beyond Horizon 26" is taking place at the Novo Selo Training Area until May 21. Military police officers from 12 countries, including Bulgaria, the USA, Canada, Italy, and other NATO partners, are participating in the event.

"We have demonstrated excellent cooperation with 12 nations – our NATO partners," stated Colonel Hristiyan Hristov, acting Director of the Military Police Service.

Key demonstrations during the exercise:

This year, the focus of the exercise is on upgrading capabilities for reconnaissance operations, building clearing, and the effective use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). The exercise serves as a platform for sharing experience between the military police of member states and Alliance partners, ensuring better interoperability.
