The movement of heavy goods vehicles over 12 tons at the border crossing point (BCP) "Ilinden" – Exochi is restricted, the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) announced. Drivers are waiting on the spot. Minutes later, the RIA announced that the traffic of light and heavy goods vehicles at the BCP "Kulata - Promachonas" has been restored.

For the second day, the blockade of the Bulgarian-Greek border continues due to the protests of Greek farmers. Over 100 heavy machinery vehicles are deployed at the BCP "Kulata - Promachonas" from the Greek side. Because of the blockades, the queues of heavy goods trucks on the "Struma" motorway are nearly 10 kilometers long.

The Bulgarian border authorities are in constant negotiations with their Greek colleagues for the phased passage of heavy goods traffic.
