Up-to-date traffic information for border checkpoints
As of 6:00 a.m., the Border Police report intense traffic for passenger cars at the entrance of the Kalotina border checkpoint on the border with Serbia. Traffic also remains busy for departing passenger cars at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint on the border with Turkey.
Important: As of July 10, the ferry connection at the Oryahovo – Bechet border checkpoint is temporarily suspended due to the low water level of the Danube River.
Situation at other borders:
- Romania: Traffic is normal through all checkpoints.
- Greece: Traffic is normal. Only passenger cars and vans up to 3.5 tons can pass through Rudozem, Zlatograd, Makaza, and Ivaylovgrad. All types of vehicles, including buses and trucks, can pass through Kulata, Ilinden, and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda.
- North Macedonia: Crossing through all border checkpoints is normal.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance, especially when traveling towards Serbia and Turkey.
