Serious violations discovered during inspection of a hotel in Ravda
A joint operation by several institutions revealed shocking violations at a hotel in Ravda that hosts student groups and camps. Representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA), the Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI), the Commission for Consumer Protection (CCP), and the Ministry of Interior participated in the inspection.
"Inspectors from the Food Agency encountered food products without documents of origin, as well as products with expired shelf lives."
As a result of the findings, the hotel's restaurant will be closed until the irregularities are resolved. The list of established violations includes:
- Missing telephones in the rooms, which contradicts categorization requirements.
- Lack of dual pricing in BGN and EUR.
- Missing signs in two languages.
Due to the seriousness of the situation, additional teams were sent to the site to assist the inspecting authorities.
