The Municipality of Pomorie announces a large-scale staff selection for a key position in a major educational project, funded by the European Union. The competition is aimed at filling three positions for educational mediators who will support intercultural interaction in local educational institutions.

The project, officially titled "Affirming Intercultural Education through Culture, Science, and Sports in the Municipality of Pomorie", aims to build a better communicative environment between different community groups. The main goal is to create a supportive educational ecosystem that encourages understanding and tolerance.

Candidates for the position must meet several mandatory criteria. The minimum educational level is secondary education, with preference given to individuals with additional qualifications. They are expected to possess excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work with diverse community groups.

The main responsibilities of educational mediators include organizing thematic meetings with parents, supporting communication between pedagogical specialists and families, and facilitating mutual understanding between students from different ethnic and religious communities.

The competitive procedure will be conducted in two stages – initial document selection and subsequent interview. Candidates must submit a set of documents, including an application, CV, copies of diplomas, and declarations of absence of legal restrictions.

The employment relationship provides for a fixed-term contract with part-time work – 4 hours daily, for a period of 36 months. The final date of project activities is set until August 17, 2028. Employment will cover five educational institutions in the region: two primary schools and three kindergartens.

Among the specific requirements for mediators are knowledge of key normative documents, ability to work in a dynamic environment, personal motivation for professional development, and crucially – an attitude for working with marginalized communities.

Application documents are accepted at the Administrative Service Center of the Municipality of Pomorie, located at 5 Solna Street, on every working day. The deadline for submitting documents is August 25, 2025. Additional information can be obtained on the municipality's official website.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the Education Program 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union. The Municipality of Pomorie bears full responsibility for the content of documentation and communication around the initiative.
