The continuation of the Swiss program for the development of dual education in Bulgaria - "Domino 2" - was presented in Burgas.
The working meeting was held at the Vocational High School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and brought together directors of vocational high schools, representatives of local businesses, branch organizations, and institutions.
The program is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science and is funded under the Second Program for Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation. It is planned to create regional coordinators for dual vocational education.
The focus is on businesses as a client of vocational education. Key elements of the program were discussed, including expanding the network of dual forms of training, support for employers, the introduction of quality standards, and assistance with career orientation.
