Students from the Foreign Language High School "Vasil Levski" participated in Euroscola in Strasbourg, experiencing an unforgettable day at the European Parliament. This was possible thanks to the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme.
The students had the opportunity to participate in a Euroscola session, where they discussed topics such as the fight against poverty, social exclusion, migration, gender equality, and climate change.
The topics that the students discussed included:
- How to protect democracy and its values;
- How to fight social exclusion and poverty;
- What social policy do we want for Europe;
- What are the challenges of migration;
- Gender equality and women's rights;
- Climate change and the responsibility of each of us;
- Access to quality education as the foundation of the future.
The students had an exciting meeting with Roberta Metsola and an inspiring conversation with Fabien Keller. The participation ended with the listening of the Anthem of Europe.
After the session, the students visited the sights of Strasbourg.
Grateful for the experience, the students are proud to be part of the European Parliament programs.
