Important public health information for the Municipality of Nessebar
The Municipality of Nessebar has successfully completed the planned disinsection and deratization activities on its territory. The process, carried out in the period from 11.06.2026 to 13.06.2026, aims to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all residents and guests of the municipality.
The safety and hygiene of public spaces are our top priority during the active summer season.
Scope of the performed treatments:
- Mosquito control: Specialized treatment of biotopes against mosquito larvae has been carried out in the areas of the town of Nessebar and the town of Obzor.
- Terrain treatments: Parks, gardens, green spaces, inter-block spaces, and animal gathering points in the villages have been treated to eliminate ticks, fleas, and other crawling insects.
- Deratization: Rodent control measures have been carried out in the cemeteries throughout the entire municipality.
- Indoor facilities: Disinsection and deratization have also been applied in indoor premises and food service areas.
The municipality continues to monitor the sanitary condition of the settlements to ensure the comfort of the citizens.
