In times of energy scarcity, Burgas Municipality and RC 112-Burgas have undertaken energy efficiency measures. Since May 2025, the administration has been working with electricity produced by a PV plant, satisfying its own needs.

The building of the "Slaveikov" Mayor's Office is equipped with a photovoltaic installation located on the roof, which provides for daytime electricity consumption during daylight hours.

The financing was secured under procedure No. BG-RRP-4.020 "Support for sustainable energy renovation of public building stock" of the NPOF. The goal is to transition to energy class "A" and reduce energy consumption. With funding of 95,590.08 euros, a PV plant, cable lines, and equipment have been constructed. The lighting has also been replaced.

Additionally, Burgas Municipality provided 89,146.37 euros for measures according to the building's technical passport, including reinforcement, renovation of offices, courtyard, and facade.

The project activities were implemented in the period 25.04.2024-21.04.2026.
