Dutch expertise to support Bulgarian greenhouse production

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency is organizing a strategic mission to Bulgaria, focused on the implementation of geothermal energy in the greenhouse sector. The delegation will visit our country from November 24 to 26.

Objectives of the visit and sustainable solutions

The main goal is to exchange experience and innovative approaches to address the energy challenges facing Bulgarian producers. The focus is on the entire value chain – from energy extraction technologies to the final realization of the produce.

Bulgaria possesses excellent natural resources and traditions in gardening, which, through geothermal solutions, can become much more competitive in the European market.

Mission program

Why geothermal energy?

High energy costs and the need for infrastructure modernization are key obstacles for the sector. Geothermal technologies offer a sustainable solution, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and increasing the energy efficiency of greenhouses.

Dutch entrepreneurs have until July 14 to submit applications for participation in the mission.
