Ongoing modernization of railway infrastructure
The renovation of the stations in Zimnitsa and Straldzha is a logical continuation of a series of completed project activities. At the end of April, the construction of three new overpasses in the section between Tserkovski and Chernograd was finalized. These facilities, which ensure the complete separation of road and railway infrastructure, are essential for increasing the safety of all road users. According to NRIC experts, the construction of the overpasses contributes to a higher reliability of train traffic and creates key prerequisites for the further modernization of the entire railway network in the region.
The completion of this phase of the project not only improves transport connectivity but also creates conditions for sustainable and efficient management of the railway network, which is of crucial importance for the economic development of the Yambol region and all of Southeastern Bulgaria.
