The state intends to start construction of new training grounds for young drivers. The money for them will come from the Road Safety Fund.
Young drivers have mastered driving techniques in various dangerous situations.
Deputy Prime Minister Grozdan Karadzhov reminded young drivers that even the best maintained roads are not enough if the people behind the wheel do not have the skills to protect their own and others' lives.
Nikolai Popov, father of Siyana: "The main focus is how not to get into dangerous situations, and not how to overcome them, because there is a huge difference. I have always believed that change should first start with us, and not just demand from institutions and say what they should do".
Grozdan Karadzhov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications: "One of the measures that the government has included in its safety program is the creation of training grounds that create risky conditions for drivers. Such as a slippery road, driving in aquaplaning, driving on extremely uneven road surfaces. I hope we can start the first such training ground next year. I hope that the funds can also be provided by the Road Safety Fund".
