With a festive mood, lots of music and dancing, Nessebar welcomed the year 2026.
Minutes before that, the mayor of the municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov, took to the stage at “Zhulietta Shishmanova” square, who welcomed the numerous residents and guests of Nessebar, celebrating together the first moments of January 1st. In his New Year's address, he wished for peace, health and well-being, emphasizing the importance of human understanding and stability.
“Let 2026 be a peaceful year, so that we can live well, with more security, humanity and care for each other. I wish you health, strength and faith in our ability to build a better future for the municipality of Nessebar,” said Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov.
The festive New Year's program in Nessebar began with a concert by the band FOUR. The Burgas performers charged the audience with energy and prepared the mood for the performance of the group D2, which turned the central square into a scene of emotions and shared joy in the first minutes of the New Year 2026.
In the seconds before midnight, the solemn countdown sounded, with which the year 2025 symbolically gave way to the new one, filled with hope for health, inspiration and success.
The festive night ended with an impressive fireworks display, a lively horo and a DJ party.
